Each month, Shine On Automotive and 97.5 BOB FM recognize a veteran in our community through the Shine On Salute, honoring their service, story, and lifelong commitment to community and country.

Below is our current Shine On Salute honoree, followed by past recipients.

September's Shine On Salute honors Matt Meusborn, who joined the Army at just 17 and served with pride. His daughter Julie nominated him, saying she loves hearing his stories — from breaking ice on the Chesapeake Bay to serving under General Patton, Jr. Matt still lives a life of service, visiting with veterans during his fuel deliveries. On this 9/11, we salute Matt, and we celebrate his grandson serving in the Army. Thank you, Matt, for your service.
