Bryant Reyez of Fort Morgan

United States Navy

January 2026

On Thursday, January 15, Bryant Reyez of Fort Morgan was presented with a Shine On Salute by Ron Smith, owner of Shine On Automotive. Smith, a United States Navy veteran, presented Reyez with a metal United States flag engraved with the U.S. Army emblem and spoke about the importance of showing veterans the respect and gratitude they deserve.

A Colorado native and 2011 Fort Morgan High School graduate, Reyez served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for nine years. During his service, he worked as an Oral Surgery Assistant, providing dental care to thousands of soldiers. He also served with a U.S. Army forensic team, helping identify fallen service members through dental records.

Reyez consistently stepped up when called upon, proudly volunteering for Color Guard duty and supporting those around him both in and out of uniform. He retired from the U.S. Army and Army National Guard as a Sergeant (E‑5). Bryant and his wife currently reside in Fort Morgan with their children, Amari (5) and Emilio (2). He now works at Korf Ford in Brush, where he continues to uplift his community and family. Bryant was nominated by his wife for this special recognition.
