Bank of Colorado

Their Fraud Department has received reports of a new text message scheme. Fake texts, purportedly from Bank of Colorado are being sent saying an account has been locked, with instructions to click on a link that goes to a fraudulent Bank of Colorado webpage. These texts did not come from Bank of Colorado. Don’t click on any links or enter any personally identifiable information. If you are not sure if a text message is from them or not, it’s always best to contact the BOC directly to confirm.

If you happened to click on one of these links in a text, and you entered personal information, please contact your local branch or their customer support at 800-227-7715. There have been reports of texts being sent out by Wells Fargo as well. These are fake also! DO NOT REPLY to these text messages.
