Gabe Kechter
Football
Kechter has created quite the resume during his time in the backfield for the Wolves. The junior has rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored at least 15 touchdowns for a third straight season. He has scored in 22 of his 29 career games and has crossed the endzone 78 times in two and a half seasons. Over that same span he has carried the ball 307 times for 4,264 yards. This breaks down to 147 yards per game and 13.9 yards per carry. Not only did he lead the team in rushing last season, he was also the leading tackler with 136. Lastly, he is a two time ALL STATE selection. Named an honorable mention in 23, and ALL STATE first team in 2024. Idalia is off to a (6-0) start and have hooked their wagon to Kechter, as the Wolves make another run at an 6-Man State Title.
