EVELYN LAPP
Just a sophomore, Evelyn Lapp is making history as the youngest athlete to be featured as our Player Spotlight. And after what she did as a freshman, itβs easy to see why.
In cross country, Lapp finished 6th at State, earned First Team All-State and All-Conference honors, and set a new school record with a time of 18:07. Then came track season. She earned First Team All-State and All-Conference honors while finishing 2nd in the 3200, 3rd in the 800 and 8th in the 1600 at State.
Okayβ¦ letβs catch our breath!
Now, Lapp heads into Year 2 looking to build on an incredible freshman campaign. Sheβs already made her mark, and if Year 1 was any indication, this young Lady Digger is just getting started.

For our FIRST ever Coach Spotlight, weβre featuring Brush Head Cross Country Coach Trevor Link!
Coach Link has been leading the Brush program for the past two seasons, and the numbers continue to grow, with participation steadily increasing each year. Link first joined the program as an assistant coach, spending three seasons in that role before taking over as head coach. Now entering his third season at the helm, Coach Link is looking to continue building the Brush Beetdigger cross country program.
