Temperatures across Northeast Colorado are about to heat up for the next 4 days, as all that moisture that brought the heavy rains and severe thunderstorms last week will be replaced by drier conditions and a heatwave that will last until the weekend.
There is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms on the extreme eastern plains of Colorado and the tri-state area between 5 and 9 pm (MDT) Monday evening. Beginning on Tuesday, it will be mostly sunny and hot across the region, with temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s through Friday.
There are no Red Flag warnings being issued by the National Weather Service at this time, but stay tuned to future weather reports for any changes. The weather pattern will return to cooler temperatures and increased chances for afternoon storms for the weekend.
If there is any severe weather in the area, stay tuned to the Media Logic Radio Networks, as we will keep you informed.
