When it comes to new machinery, 2025 had some exciting introductions for farmers. From more powerful tractors to the latest tech, here’s a look at some of the best introductions from the past 12 months.
JCB Fastrac 6000 Series Tractors
One high-interest introduction came from JCB in mid-fall, when the company launched a new series of Fastrac high-speed tractors.
“The all-new 6000 Series stays true to JCB’s innovative and groundbreaking concept that defines all Fastracs, resulting in an exceptional combination of productivity, efficiency, versatility, and operator comfort,” JCB Agriculture Managing Director John Smith said. “It also takes the JCB Fastrac into a new power and performance category, meeting the needs of farmers and contractors with outstanding features that create a highly productive machine with unique capabilities in the field and on the road.”

Availability: The 6000 series tractors will be available in Q2 of 2026 to North American customers.

Kubota MX4900 Utility Tractor
In February, Kubota Tractor Corporation unveiled the MX4900 at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville.
“The main new feature of this machine is that it’s the lowest horsepower of the MX lineup, but the chassis remains the same so you get all the same features, such as loader capabilities and hydraulic flow,” said Tyler Weyenberg, Kubota product manager. “This will do everything the bigger machines will do except for heavy PTO work like brush cutting.”

Availability: The MX4900 is now available at authorized Kubota dealers.

JCB 4TS Teleskid and 400T CTL
JCB’s launch of the 109-hp 4TS Teleskid and 400T compact track loader (CTL), the largest models in its CTL lineup, was a highlight in August.
“These machines reflect our commitment to equipping customers with the tools they need to work smarter, not harder,” said Lee Tice, product manager for JCB North America. “The 4TS and 400T were developed with extensive customer feedback, incorporating updates that deliver more power, greater reach, and improved productivity. Whether you’re working cattle, clearing fence lines, moving feed, or handling heavy materials around the farm, these machines are built to exceed expectations and adapt to the demands of modern agricultural operations.”

Availability: Both models are now available at JCB dealerships across North America.

Deere Next-Gen Combine Front-End Equipment
February was a popular month for machinery introductions. John Deere released two new combine headers: a three-piece hinged draper reel system, and an 18-row corn head with 30-inch spacing.
“Our goal is to ensure John Deere combines are as productive as possible, and that all starts with the header,” said Bergen Nelson, go-to market manager for harvest equipment. “These headers are built to consistently feed the combine, keeping harvest productive and efficient. We know that how the crop is taken off the field is as important as how the field is left behind, and all that starts with the front end.”
Details
Availability: Both headers are now available in the U.S. and Canada.

“The SB.1436DB is built to meet the needs of modern hay producers who face increasing pressure from labor shortages, tight harvest windows, and demanding quality standards,” said Dane Mosel, marketing manager, Massey Ferguson.

Kubota Grand L70 Series
Another mid-fall introduction came from Kubota. At the end of September, the company introduced the new Grand L70 Series machines with three model options: premium, deluxe, and cold weather.
“The Grand L70 Series is more than just a new tractor — it’s an innovative leap forward in elevating the operator experience by seamlessly integrating technology,” said Matthew Walker, Kubota senior product operations manager, compact and utility tractors. “Kubota has a long history of listening to customer feedback and innovating machines that not only meet the demands of modern small ranch and farm owners and professionals alike but also provide an operator experience that goes far beyond expectations.”
