Recently, Morgan County resident Kris Musgrave announced on Facebook that he is running to be the next District 1 Morgan County Commissioner. According to his post, he owns a ranch and livestock feeding operation, along with the Stagecoach Meat Company in Wiggins. He served the last 8 years on the Wiggins School Board and is on the board of both the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation, and the Colorado Beef Council. The fifth generation Eastern Colorado Ag Producer resides in the far southwest corner of Morgan County with his wife Jessica, and their 4 children. Within his writing, he mentions how ‘our way of life is very important to us, but continually comes under attack by agendas being pushed by groups and individuals who do not understand or appreciate our way of life.’
