KRDZ Sports Update 04/10/24

Wray Baseball split their doubleheader with Wiggins yesterday, winning 4-3 in game 1 before falling in game 2 12-8. In game 1, Wray took over with a 3-run 4th inning and held on as Rydge Peterson once again dazzled in all 7 innings pitching, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits with 8 strikeouts to 3 walks. In game 2, Wray had their best offensive performance of the season with 8 runs on 10 hits, but collapsed defensively in the 6th inning, allowing 7 runs as Wiggins turned a 3 run deficit into a 4 run lead. Wray Baseball will take on Burlington in a road doubleheader on Saturday.

Wray Track will be in the Greeley Twilight meet on Friday, start time at 2pm.

Wray Girls Golf will be in their next tournament on Monday in Sterling, tee off at 9am.
