Police, fire, and ambulance rescue crews responded to a two-car crash that occurred near the off-ramp from Highway 34 and I-76. The crash happened at about 12:50 pm, with requests for an additional ambulance at about 1:05. One lane of Highway 34 was blocked during the response. Fluids spilled on the roadway, as there were mild delays near the off-ramp. The crash victims were transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital. The extent of the injuries or the cause of the wreck is unknown. Colorado State Patrol took over the scene at about 1:25 pm.
A separate crash happened on East Platte Avenue in Fort Morgan, about an hour earlier, near a liquor store. A 49-year-old woman was conscious and breathing, as this was just a single vehicle wreck.
