KFTM Sports Update 10/2/23

It was a good homecoming for both Brush and Wiggins on Friday night. Lady Tiger volleyball ran past Yuma, (three sets to none), while Wiggins football opened league play with a (27-7) win over the newly named Outlaws. Brush also picked up a victory in their league opener as they took down Arvada (41-13).

Lady Digger softball held off a late Resurrection Christian rally and earned a (15-13) victory over the Cougars on Saturday. Brush is at home for their next two to close out the regular season. They face Lamar on Tuesday and Eaton on Thursday at 4pm on hometown radio KFTM. And finally, Lady Digger volleyball earned a three set road sweep of Estes Park also on Saturday.
