Keep That Snow Shovel Handy in Fort Morgan

At a recent Fort Morgan City Council meeting, Fort Morgan Police Chief Loren Sharp wanted to make the public aware of the responsibilities people have for clearing snow off the sidewalks after a snowstorm. A reminder that in Fort Morgan, you have 24 hours after the storm ends, to clear the sidewalk in front of your home. Sometimes, things like this are forgotten, when snow is few and far between. Following one of the most recent storms, there were 51 violations issued to homeowners that didn’t comply with this. So, if you live in Fort Morgan, make sure that snow shovel is handy, and if you know of a neighbor that is in need of help shoveling, you might want to give them a helping (and shoveling) hand.
