Shine On Salute Honoree for February

On Friday, February 27, Josh Lambrecht of Sterling was honored with a Shine On Salute by Ron Smith, owner of Shine On Automotive. Smith, a United States Navy veteran, presented Lambrecht with a metal United States flag engraved with the U.S. Marine emblem and spoke about the importance of showing veterans the respect and gratitude they deserve.
Lambrecht, a Sterling High School graduate, served in the United States Marine Corps from 1996 to 2000 as a Ground Support Equipment operator, with assignments in Okinawa, Japan, and Yuma, Arizona. He now works as a Project Manager at Akralos Animal Nutrition. Josh and his wife, Krystal, are the proud parents of Dante and Nate.
Josh was nominated by Robert Tanser, who shared heartfelt words on the nomination form:
“He goes above and beyond for anyone. Hard‑working, very dedicated—brother in both service and civilian life. He has been my mentor and hero for years. He helped pull my life together when I was down and out. He deserves all the recognition he can handle.”
Thank you, Robert, for nominating Josh for the Shine On Salute from Shine On Automotive and 97.5 BOB FM. We echo your words wholeheartedly—Lambrecht is a hero in every sense and truly worthy of recognition.
Congratulations to Josh Lambrecht, this month’s Shine On Salute honoree.
