At around 2:00 am, Sunday morning, July 28th, Fort Morgan police officers were called to the 200 block of Main Street in Fort Morgan for a call of "shots fired". It was determined that a male party was shot by another individual and was inside a nightclub. The suspect had been denied entry into the club earlier in the evening. The suspect returned and was outside when he opened fire toward the building. The individual who was struck by the bullet was transported to St. Elizabeth and later to a Denver area hospital, where he is in stable condition. The suspect is still at large, and this investigation is ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
