In a recent interview with Ashley Lynch of the Yuma Public Library she spoke about how the library just celebrated their 100th Anniversary. There was a community event held for this, as over 100 people were in attendance.

She wanted to let the public know that registration for the Summer Reading Program has started and is unlimited. It’s open to all ages: 6th grade and below, but 7th & 8th grades are also welcome, as no one will be turned away.

You can register through Saturday, May 31st, but if you miss that deadline, come in that first week of June, as the program doesn’t start until Wednesday, June 4th.

The Yuma Museum will open on Saturday, May 31st as well. The Yuma Public Library is located at 910 South Main Street in Yuma – part of the NJC Yuma campus.
