Winter Storm Warnings & Advisories for NE Colorado

*WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM EARLY THIS MORNING TO 11 AM MST FRIDAY. Heavy snow expected, with total snow accumulations between 2 and 10 inches with localized higher amounts possible. Travel will be very difficult. Logan & Washington County-Including the cities of Crook, Merino, Sterling, Peetz, Otis, Akron, Last Chance, and Cope.

**WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST FRIDAY. Heavy wet snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 7 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze. A band of heavy snow is forecast to develop across northern portions of Yuma County. Includes the cities of Yuma & Wray - A band of heavy wet snow is forecast to develop mainly along and north of Highway 36 in Yuma County around 9am and persist through the late afternoon hours. Snowfall rates of 2-3 inches per hour are possible in this area. A period of freezing rain and sleet is possible around sunrise as cooler air moves in and changes rain into wintry precipitation.

***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO 11 AM MST FRIDAY. Total snow accumulations up to 5 inches mainly in far eastern Weld and Morgan Counties. Includes Wiggins, Raymer, Fort Morgan, Goodrich, Pawnee Buttes, Log Lane Village, Brush, Stoneham, Grover, and Briggsdale. Plan on slippery road conditions. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
