Weldon Valley School District – (RE-20J) –

Recently, Weldon Valley’s FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) team, led by Kyra Keating and Skylar Scott, was named State Champions in ‘Digital Animation’ at the State FBLA Leadership Conference. This is Weldon Valley’s first-ever state title, as it has earned them the chance to compete at the national level at the Nationals in June, held in Anaheim, California.

way. The FBLA members are excited to showcase their work on the national stage, but they need some help. The estimated cost for each student to make the trip is about $2,500. Due to this financial challenge, they are seeking community sponsorship as well as donations. The support from the community will help the group to represent the school and the state with pride.

If you would like to help the next generation of business leaders, checks can be made payable to the ‘Weldon Valley FBLA’. Cash and credit card donations are also accepted. To help contribute or to learn more, please contact the advisor at 970-380-9155 or at csmith@weldonvalley.org
