Trial date in the Brittani Meek case has been continued again - defense requested

The murder trial of Clifton Boggess in the 2023 death of Brittani Meek has been postponed again at the request of the defense.
Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney Travis Sides confirmed the trial, which had been scheduled to begin November second, has been continued.
The trial was previously postponed in May after new evidence surfaced.
A status conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 15th, at Yuma County District Court in Wray. The court is expected to set a new trial date.
