Sterling Fire Department - Just before 11 AM on Wednesday, April 27, Station 1 and Logan Cars were dispatched to the area of W 2nd Ave and S 3rd St in Iliff for a structure fire. Reporting parties reported an old outbuilding on fire, spreading to nearby campers and a boat. On-scene units found an outbuilding with heavy fire throughout, and the fire spread to multiple exposures. Through the rain and even some hail, crews deployed attack lines and worked to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported. Peetz Fire, Crook Fire, and DFPC units also responded to assist crews.
