Suspect Arrested in Sedgwick County

Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office -
On Monday, June 10, Sheriff Crowder was contacted by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office regarding a male party who was believed to be hiding in Sedgwick County. The male party had a felony warrant for his arrest. On Wednesday, June 12, the vehicle that the suspect was driving was located and a surveillance operation began in the area.
On Thursday, June 13, elements of the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and the Holyoke Police Department executed an operation which led to the arrest of the suspect in Ovid. No injuries were sustained by the general public, the suspect, or by law enforcement personnel. Special thanks to the Holyoke Police Department for their detailed assistance in this apprehension. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
