Sterling Police make an arrest in the sexual exploitation of a child

PRESS RELEASE: Sterling Police Department - On Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 5:40 a.m., Officers with the Sterling Police Department Patrol, Investigations, and Special Enforcement Team arrested an adult male in an ongoing case involving sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a child.
In early January (2026), Sterling Police Department detectives began an investigation into sexual exploitation of a child, based on a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force. A suspect was quickly identified, and search warrants were obtained, revealing numerous instances of predatory behavior, including internet discussions and pornographic material depicting explicit sexual content between an adult male and minor children.
Probable cause was developed to obtain an arrest warrant for 32-year-old Denzel Bradley, of Sterling. Through a coordinated effort, Bradley was arrested without incident. He is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
Bradley is charged with the following:
· CRS 18-6-403(3)(b.5) Sexual Exploitation of a child (Possess) 100 counts (F4)
· CRS 18-6-403(3)(b) Sexual Exploitation of a child (Produce/Distro) 10 counts (F3)
· CRS 18-3-405(2)(d) Sexual Assault on a Child (Pattern of abuse) 3 counts (F3)
· CRS 18-3-405(2) Sexual Assault on a Child 1 count (F4)
· CRS 18-3-405.3 Sexual Assault on a Child position of trust 4 counts (F3)
