Sterling Police arrest man wearing an Amazon vest on DUID suspicion

Sterling Police say a driver wearing an Amazon vest was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence of drugs.
According to police, the driver was stopped just before 12:30 p.m. on Main Street for a lane violation. Officers said the man was wearing an Amazon vest and showed signs of drug impairment. After conducting a standardized field sobriety test, police arrested him on suspicion of DUID.
It’s unclear whether the driver was beginning or ending a delivery route. Police said the vehicle he was operating was towed from the scene with all packages secured. They did not specify the type of vehicle involved, and it remains unknown whether the man is an Amazon employee or was simply wearing the company’s vest.
