Sentencing update from the Brush Police Department regarding internet child sex abuse case

Brush Police Department - SENTENCING UPDATE:
In October 2024, Investigations received an email from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) in which a cyber tip was reported from a social media platform that flagged child sex abuse material.
Through weeks of investigations, several more cybertips were assigned to investigations regarding the same suspect.
Through the investigation, Matthew Harding of Brush was identified as the suspect and found to not only have possessed but also distributed several files that contained child sex abuse material.
On 02/27/2025, officers with the Brush Police Department arrested Harding on a felony warrant for 64 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. This case is still under investigation.
