Red Flag Warning issued for Logan County for Tuesday

National Weather Service - RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 5 PM MST TUESDAY FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR LOGAN COUNTY, which is in effect from 10 AM to 5 PM MST Tuesday.

*WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent.

Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
