New Year's Day high-speed chase goes from Yuma County into Kansas

Yuma County Sheriff Todd Combs recently sent out a press release regarding a high-speed chase that took place on New Year’s Day.
On January 1, around 4:45 pm, Deputy Trace Combs of the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office clocked a dark-colored Ford Mustang on Colorado Highway 385 near Colorado 36.
According to the report, the vehicle was traveling at 97mph in a 65mph zone. The car was heading eastbound when Deputy Combs activated his lights. At this point, the Mustang sped up and attempted to elude law enforcement. At times during the pursuit, the vehicle was going as fast as 130mph.
Kansas Law Enforcement was contacted, & Deputy Combs continued the chase into Kansas until it was safe to relinquish it. Unfortunately, the car managed to elude the police near St. Francis, Kansas. No other information is available currently.
