Fort Morgan wrestling scored the first 24 points and held on to beat sixth ranked Fort Lupton (39-33) last night at Stan Lampe Gymnasium. The Mustangs picked up six wins with five of them coming by the way of pin fall. Fort Morgan is back at again tonight and host Mountain View at 6:30pm on hometown radio KFTM, 94.1 FM, and online at medialogicradio.com
While the Mustangs were at home, Brush traveled to Keenesburg for a triangular with the Rebels and Sterling Tigers. The Diggers handled the Tigers (57-18), but no score has been reported as of this morning against Weld Central. Brush joins Fort Morgan in Johnstown on Saturday for the Roosevelt Invite starting at 9am
Brush boys have the first of three straight days of basketball at the Weld Central Tournament and match up with Timnath at 3:30pm. And the Wiggins hoopers are in Greeley against Daysprings Christian with the Lady Tigers at 5:30pm with the boys at 7pm
