Highway 52 was closed north of Fort Morgan on Monday due to a fatal single-vehicle crash

On Monday, March 16th, the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, Colorado State Patrol, along with fire crews and ambulance services, responded to a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred on southbound Highway 52, south of County Road V, north of Fort Morgan, just before 1 pm.

Crews were called in to perform an extrication, and Flight for Life was also called to the scene as Highway 52 was closed between County Road T.5 and W, while First-Responders were on-scene.

According to Morgan County Sheriff Dave Martin, the solo occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene of the wreck and was a male from Nebraska.

The Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash, with no other details being released at this time.
