Fort Morgan City Election Ballot Finalized

The final ballot content for the City of Fort Morgan has been certified to the Morgan County Clerk & Recorder’s Office, which conducts the city election as part of its Coordinated Election. The Nov. 4 election will be a mail-ballot election, with ballots scheduled to be mailed to registered voters during the week of Oct. 13.
The Fort Morgan portion of the 2025 ballot features a total of 6 candidates competing for five seats on the Fort Morgan City Council, including two candidates for mayor. The ballot also includes City of Fort Morgan Ballot Question 2A, a proposal to increase the city sales tax by 1% for the construction of an aquatic facility.

All those who are elected in November will be sworn in and take their seats during a special meeting of the City Council on Jan. 13, 2025.
The city’s ballot question 2A proposes to increase the city sales tax by 1% for the purpose of designing, acquiring, constructing, improving and equipping an aquatics center.
Eligible voters can register to vote in the 2025 election until Election Day at the elections office of the Morgan County Clerk & Recorder’s Office in the County Administration Building at 231 Ensign St. In-person early voting will begin on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025.
