Writer: Media Logic RadioMedia Logic Radio

There was a decent gathering of people for the Fort Morgan Chamber of Commerce Annual meeting that was held at the old VFW building, which is now the Eranisol Club & Event Hall on Thursday evening in Fort Morgan. Among those in attendance was Chamber President Gloria Mosqueda and Vice President Rena Frasco.

Awards were given to those businesses and citizens that help the Fort Morgan community move towards the future. The Fort Morgan Business of the Year honor went to Colorado Land Company, as the Citizen of the Year was awarded to Juan Martinez of El Jacal Mexican Grill. Sandy Schneider-Engle from the City of Fort Morgan presented the holiday themed awards to Allo for their Christmas Parade Float, and the best ‘Train-Car’ went to Trinity Lutheran School for their ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree’ theme.

Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients! The Fort Morgan Chamber of Commerce is also looking for a new director, if interested, check out their website at fortmorganchamber.com, or call them at 970 867-6702.
