Fire Weather Watch issued for Friday - Thursday's Watch is cancelled

NWS - The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from 8 am Friday morning through 6 pm Friday afternoon. This includes Boulder, Jefferson, Broomfield, Douglas, Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Weld, Morgan, Logan, Washington, Sedgwick, and Phillips Counties in Colorado.
WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 11 percent.
Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
*A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
