Fatal Crash in Morgan County Claims Four Lives

On Wednesday, July 3, at about 3:34 pm, the Colorado State Patrol responded to a report of a crash involving a Polaris RZR, occupied by four individuals, and a Ram 5500, occupied by one, on Morgan County Road C and Morgan County Road 31. The Polaris entered the intersection northbound, without yielding at the posted stop sign. It then collided with the Ram as it traveled westbound. The occupant of the Ram suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital. All occupants of the Polaris were declared deceased on scene. According to CPR News - Two parents, both 22, and their one- and two-year-old sons were killed in the crash. Morgan County Coroner Mike Dahl said in a telephone interview. The Morgan County Corner will release the identities of the deceased after family notifications are made. He added that autopsy results take between six and eight weeks. It is unsure if drugs or alcohol were involved, as the investigation is ongoing.
