This year at the National Western Stock Show, our very own Delaney Draegert was selected as a Media Scholar, which has given her firsthand experience working behind the scenes to support the media and marketing efforts required to promote a large-scale event. In addition, she is interning with the Livestock Operations team. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including sorting banners and ribbons prior to the show, recording results during events, caring for Catch-A-Calf steers after exhibitors leave, and assisting with various office tasks throughout the duration of the show.
Here is what she says about the experience so far,
“I know that three weeks in Denver can be quite the long haul, but as one who was once an exhibitor myself I am beyond thankful for the opportunities given while interning here at National Western. From the short few days I have been here, I have a new appreciation for what it takes to put on a show of this size, and I am glad that I get to be apart of the 120th National Western Stock Show.”
Congratulations Delaney on your exciting internship! We are proud of you!
Good Luck to all of Logan County Exhibitors at National Western Stock Show.
