Crash Victims Identified in Morgan County

The victims of the crash involving a UTV and a truck that occurred on Wednesday, July 3rd, have been identified by the Morgan County Coroner. Brandon Adkins & Destiny Rios, both 22 years of age, were killed along with their 2 young sons Benjamin and Isaiah. At about 3:34 pm, the Colorado State Patrol responded to a report of a crash involving a Polaris RZR, occupied by four individuals, and a Ram 5500, occupied by one, on Morgan County Road C and Morgan County Road 31, about 20 miles south of Brush, and northeast of Woodrow. The Polaris entered the intersection northbound, without yielding at the posted stop sign. It then collided with the westbound travelling Ram. The occupant of the Ram suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

The investigation into whether drugs or alcohol were involved continues. A GoFundMe page was set up to help with funeral expenses.
