Brush Ward 1 Council Member Needed

The City of Brush! is looking for a resident of Ward I to complete one more year of the current 4-year term on City Council!


Ward I is the area of Brush from the west city limit boundary to the center line of Hospital Road. Criteria for being a Council Member: You must currently reside and have resided for 12 months in Ward I – Be A Registered Voter – Be At least 18 years of age & a U.S. Citizen, with No other elective office held. Regular Council meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:00 p.m. with an Average time commitment is 2-5 hours per week which includes preparation for and participation in regular meetings, special meetings, and any board / commission appointments.


To be considered for the seat: Submit a 1–2-page letter describing your interest in the seat and any experience you think may bring value to the City Council by 5:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 8th.
