Brush Police Handling Investigation

On Thursday, January 16th, the Brush Police Department received a call to a residence to a report of a suspicious incident. It was found that an organization known online as ‘Colorado Ped Patrol’ were contacting a resident in Brush, accusing them of internet luring of a minor. A Brush Police Officer responded after receiving the call, and to maintain order once on scene. After contact was made with the representative of Colorado Ped Petrol, they agreed to come to the police department to assist in the investigation. They provided the documentation they alleged indicates the stated offense. The case has since been handed over to the Brush police investigator for further investigation. Once a decision has been made regarding the case, more information will be released.
