The current enforcement for weeds and overgrowth is as follows.
- A Community Service Officer will come to your house and either make contact with you or leave a written notice on your door informing you of the violation.
- In ten days' time if the violation isn’t taken care of, the CSO will then contact someone to clean the property up, also known as an abatement.
- Once the work is completed, the bill will be sent to the property owner. This process was put in place in lieu of a summons to court and prolonged violation on the property.
