BBQ with the Blue Event in Fort Morgan was a Big Success

It was a great turnout for the annual BBQ with the Blue event in Glenn Miller Park in downtown Fort Morgan on Wednesday evening. The park was packed with families and folks from across the community as the Fort Morgan Police Department, along with other local law enforcement agencies and first responders, put on a fun and free event for all to enjoy and come together to support the brave men & women who protect everyone.

Along with free hamburgers and hot dogs, there were plenty of games and activities for the kids to enjoy, fun music, plus cool emergency response vehicles to get a close look at. There were plenty of local organizations offering information, the Flight For Life helicopter flyover, along with a true sense of community.

Many individuals and organizations volunteered their time for the event, giving everyone another summer-fun activity, just before school starts back for the new year.
