The temperatures across Northeast Colorado are fairly mild this week, but some major arctic changes are coming for the weekend and early next week.
After highs in the 50’s for Thursday, Friday will see the temps peak in the lower 40’s, before a big drop throughout the day, with a 60 to 80% chance of snow for Friday night, and lows in the single digits with blustery conditions that could make it feel colder. There is a 20-50% chance for snow on Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the teens and lower 20’s, and low temperatures in the negative single digits.
The sun comes out, but the arctic air sticks around for Monday, Martin Luther King Day, with high temps only in single digits. Tuesday warms up a bit, with highs in the middle 20’s. Use caution & bundle up for the weekend and early next week.
