McBride has made significant strides in his three years in the NFL. Recently, he became the highest-paid tight end in the league after signing a four-year, $76 million contract extension to stay in Arizona. Trey joins fellow Mustang, Ryan Jensen, as players who have achieved the "Highest Paid" status at their respective positions in the NFL. In 2025, he recorded an impressive 111 receptions (TEAM RECORD FOR TE), amassing 1,146 yards and scoring two touchdowns. His performance earned him his first Pro Bowl selection, while his leadership and character were recognized by his teammates, who nominated him as the Cardinals' representative for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year award. He is set to host his 3rd Annual Football Camp in Fort Morgan on Friday, July 11th, 2025. The camp, which is free of charge, is open to students in grades 3 through 8.
