Weld County Deputy Involved in Traffic Crash Released from Hospital

PRESS RELEASE UPDATE -

The sheriff’s office is issuing an update to the public regarding a traffic crash earlier this morning involving one of our deputies. The traffic crash occurred while the deputy was parked on the side of Southbound Interstate 25 at mile marker 236, waiting for a tow truck. The deputy did not incur any serious injuries from the crash and was released from the hospital this morning. and is resting at home.

We truly value the public's concern for the deputy and hope for a swift recovery. The Colorado State Patrol is investigating this incident and is the primary source of information regarding the traffic crash investigation.
