Sterling, CO – May 22nd, 2025 –
On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the Sterling Police responded to a burglary at Everyday Convenience, 303 N 3rd Street. Officers found the store ransacked, the power shut off, and numerous items stolen, including lottery tickets, cigarettes, alcohol, vapes, and pocketknives.
Later in the day, officers responded to a stolen vehicle report in the 300 block of N. 9th Ave. The victim’s unlocked vehicle had been stolen, along with her ID and debit cards. Her card was later used to purchase gas for the stolen vehicle at Everyday Convenience.
During the investigation, Officers and Detectives identified a juvenile male and a juvenile
female suspect known to law enforcement. They were seen at the gas station in the stolen vehicle using the victim’s cards. Detectives later recovered the cards.
The stolen vehicle was later located by a Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy in the 500 block of Walnut Street with three occupants: the two juveniles and 27-year-old Adrieanna Pomeroy of Sterling. Pomeroy was seated in the driver’s seat when the vehicle was located and contacted. A search of Pomeroy and the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, as well as stolen merchandise from the earlier burglary.
During the investigation, the suspects admitted stealing the vehicle and their involvement in the burglary.
