PRESS RELEASE: City of Fort Morgan - SMH West, LLC construction crews will begin upgrading the storm sewer drainage system at Exit 80 on the north side of I-76 and Highway 52. Construction to install the
storm sewer pipe and manholes will start at the westbound I-76 on-ramp and continue
South on Highway 52 (Main Street) to Riverview Avenue.

April 6, travelers should anticipate the following temporary road closures, lane
reductions, and traffic control measures. In the following order:
Highway 52 (Main Street): Traffic control will reduce underpass traffic for
northbound travelers only, between the north (westbound on ramp) and south
(eastbound on ramp) ramps. Southbound travelers will be detoured at County
Road T.5.

Eastbound on-ramp to I-76: Closed at Exit 80 for 9 days.
Highway 52 (Main Street) south of I-76: Traffic control will reduce traffic to one

Road).
Traffic control signs will be posted along State Highway 52 and I-76 to guide motorists

delays.
To install the larger 60-inch pipe, businesses between I-76 and Riverview Avenue will
experience temporary closures along their Main Street entrances. Businesses that
remain open during construction will require patrons to use alternative routes to gain
