MCEDC Holds Kentucky Derby Themed Awards Banquet

Morgan County Economic Development Corporation held its awards banquet on Friday evening, May 2nd. The Kentucky Derby-themed event included a stick horse race, derby food and drinks, and lots of fancy clothes, big hats, and live music. They also handed out awards, including “small business of the year” to Buildings by Design, and “Large business of the year” to Cargill. “Investor of the year: to Inceptions Media and the “Sage award” to John Sneed. The MCEDC business meeting was held at a luncheon earlier in the year.
