Wray Football defeated Yuma on Friday 35-6. The Eagles held the Outlaws off the board until the 4th quarter as Samuel Meisner scored all 5 touchdowns for the Eagles, rushing for 113 yards and even scoring on a kickoff. Wray Football will take on Burlington on Friday.
Wray Volleyball lost to Yuma on Friday 3-1 before winning all 3 of their games in the Caliche tournament on Saturday, 3-0 over Peetz, 3-2 over Caliche, and 3-0 over Flatirons Academy. Wray Volleyball will play Akron tomorrow.
Yuma County Softball's season came to an end on Saturday with a 12-0 loss in 4 innings to Thomas Jefferson in the Regional Tournament. The girls finished their season hot, finishing the regular season winning 10 of 14 games after starting the season 1-7 to qualify for the Regional Tournament after missing out last year.
Wray Cross Country will run in the regional tournament on Friday, start time at 3:30.
