KRDZ Sports Update 10/13/23

Wray Cross Country had their meet in Wray cancelled yesterday due to the weather. There is not yet word if that meet will be made up before next Friday's regional tournament.

Wray Football will take on Yuma on the road tonight, kickoff will be at 7 with pregame starting at 6 on KRDZ.

Wray Volleyball will play 4 games this weekend, they'll take on Yuma tonight starting with C team at 3, followed by JV, Varsity, and then D team. Wray Volleyball will then play Elbert, Caliche, and Flatirons Academy at Caliche tomorrow starting at 10:30am. Live coverage of tomorrow's 3 games will be on KRDZ.

Yuma County Softball will play in the regional tournament tomorrow at Thomas Jefferson in Denver. At 10am, Rocky Ford will take on Resurrection Christian, followed by Yuma County taking on Thomas Jefferson. Afterwards, the winners of both games will play for the regional championship. The two teams that play in the regional championship will advance to the state tournament in Aurora next weekend.
