KRDZ Sports Update 10/02/23

Wray Football lost 32-14 to Holyoke on Friday. The game was tied at 6 before Holyoke scored 20 points in the 2nd quarter to take a 26-6 lead at halftime, and was able to manage Wray from there. Wray will host Limon on Saturday.

Wray Volleyball lost 3-2 to Holyoke on Friday. Wray led 2 sets to 1 as Holyoke forced a 5th set and beat Wray in a heartbreaker 16-14. Wray Volleyball will take on Sedgwick County tomorrow.

Yuma County Softball was swept in their Saturday doubleheader with Holyoke, 15-3 and 17-2. They'll wrap up their regular season on Thursday against Limon.

The 3A boys golf state championship is today and tomorrow from Raindance in Windsor. Rydge Peterson and Jack Frerichs are representing Wray at the tournament.
