Wray Girls Golf competed in the regional tournament in Sterling yesterday. The team finished in 8th place out of 14 teams, and came up just short of having any individual qualifiers for the state tournament, with Addi Jones coming up one point short and Kaitlyn Kramer coming up 2 points short. Congratulations to the girls on their season.
The state track qualifiers have been announced. Representing Wray individually at this year's meet for the boys will be Aaron Tena in the 110 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles, Reegan Shay in pole vault, and Brody Stults in long jump and triple jump, and for the girls, Addi Jones will be in the 800 meter, 1600 meter, and 3200 meter, Makenna Kline in the 300 meter hurdles, Sharon Greek in high jump, Sydnee Cheek in pole vault, Makynna Deland in shot put, and Mariah Deland in shot put and discus. The state meet will be Thursday through Saturday at Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood.
Wray Baseball will play in the regional tournament this weekend. Location and schedule will be announced tomorrow.
