KRDZ Sports Update 04/01/24

Wray Baseball was swept in their doubleheader with Merino on Saturday, 1-0 and 12-2 in 5 innings. In game 1, Rydge Peterson duked it out with Merino's Josiah Mackintosh in a pitcher's duel, allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits in 6 innings in the loss. In game 2, Merino jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back, continuing to overwhelm Wray's pitchers with many baserunners.

State FBLA and FCCLA are both this week. As a result, Wray Baseball will next take on Weld Central in a home doubleheader on Saturday, Wray Track will be in their next meet at Holyoke on Saturday, and Wray Girls Golf will host their next tournament on Monday.
