KRDZ Sports Update 01/03/24

The Winter sports season returns this week after a few weeks off for the Winter break.

Wray Boys Wrestling will be in the Tournament of Champions in Vernal, UT on Friday starting at noon, and on Saturday starting at 9:30. There will be a varsity and a JV tournament going on both days, and on Saturday there will be a second chance tournament for any varsity wrestlers who were eliminated on Friday. Live coverage of both days will be on KRDZ.

Wray Girls Wrestling will be in a tournament in Lamar on Friday, start time will be at 10am.

Wray Basketball will be at home this weekend. On Friday, they'll host Merino, with JV girls starting at 4 followed by varsity girls and varsity boys. On Saturday, they'll host Dundy County, NE starting at 1 with a half of a JV girls game, followed by varsity girls and varsity boys.
