KFTM Sports Update 9/29/23

Fort Morgan volleyball was swept in their third straight last night on the road at Niwot. Allie Guerrero led the Lady Mustangs with 5 kills, while the Cougars Addison Engle had a match high 11. Fort Morgan is back at home on Tuesday to entertain the Northridge Grizzlies. First serve at 6:30pm on hometown radio KFTM.

Merino held Wiggins to 15 points or less in every set on their way to a sweep over the Lady Tigers at home. The Lady Rams remain unbeaten at (12-0) as the Tigers fall to (11-2). Wiggins is back at it again tonight and hosts Yuma for homecoming starting at 4pm.

The Weldon Valley Lady Warriors needed just three sets to get past Flagler on the road. Fort Morgan soccer stopped a four game skid with a big (10-2) win at Mountain View last night. The Mustangs return home to face the Frederick Golden Eagles on Tuesday at 4pm

Coming up today on a homecoming football Friday, Brush hosts Arvada in their league opener at 7:20pm, and Wiggins welcomes in Yuma for a 7pm kickoff. The Fort Morgan Mustangs are on their bye week and are on the road at Lincoln next Saturday at 2pm.
